Akin has boosted its special situations and private credit practice with the appointment of Bill Brady as a partner, based in New York.
Brady joins from Paul Hastings, where he was head of the alternative lender and private credit group.
The law firm said that Brady’s practice focuses advising a broad array of direct lenders and private credit firms on complex finance transactions and credit arrangements, including financings that include multiple tranches of debt.
