18 Mar Bitfinex among first to list $MPC, Native Token of Partisia Blockchain

ROAD TOWN, British Virgin Islands – March 18, 2024 – Bitfinex (https://www.bitfinex.com/), a premier digital asset trading platform, announced today that it will be among the world’s first exchanges to list MPC, the native token of Partisia Blockchain, a layer-1 blockchain built with specialized technologies to protect users’ private data while enabling seamless interoperability between blockchains, and scalability. 

Launched in 2022, the Partisia Blockchain describes itself as a blockchain that combines a scalable and interoperable blockchain design with an advanced, secure privacy technology called multiparty computation (MPC). This aims to ensure an added layer of encryption, aimed at safeguarding users’ private data within the Partisia ecosystem. Moreover, the network’s architecture boasts complete sharding technology, promising “unlimited scalability” to accommodate transaction volumes and user influxes without compromising network resilience. Partisia’s native utility token, $MPC, can be used for staking to fortify the network, earning them additional $MPC rewards.

Deposits of MPC will open at approximately 1:30 PM UTC on March 18, 2024, subject to network conditions. Trading is planned to commence at approximately 1:30 PM on March 19, 2024, contingent upon liquidity requirements being met. MPC will be tradable against US Dollars (MPC/USD) and Tether tokens (MPC/USDt).
