You need to know something here. See all these policies whatever is brought by govt, if really isn’t by ruling party mostly. These are drafted by planning commission and very experienced people based on research do draft it. If a bill is drafted, it’s drafted by the IAS & experts only.

Now the problem is how well it’s implemented. Congress for all I know is worse in implementing it. Post office digitalization, it wasn’t picking up speed. Even way before to catch black money they brought 26AS, i.e wherever high transaction is made PAN number is given which then 26AS traces. Good concept but it’s way worse, doesn’t track properly at all. Banks were also little loose, used to be a time they would simply open a bank account saying give me PAN later, never check with 15G form properly because it’s good for customer, they would get lots of deposit, they won’t catch TDS, benefit for both bank and customer. And the ITD were lazy really dumb ppl were made in charge.

All changed when Modi came to office. They got very strict. There is very less ways ppl can by pass tax now. And suprise suprise they AIS tracks all FD’s , heavy investment etc. Pretty sure few ppl got heart attack :stuck_out_tongue:.

Eitherway whether bjp or congress, those thug life shady days are slowly coming to end

I knew it. You will never give me Pabbas party. Show me 2000 note and say now go.

will need to wait for RBI’s press release.

Rs 2,000 note withdrawn from circulation, to remain legal tender.

Other news agencies are reporting it will continue to remain a legal tender post Sep 30 – but who will take the risk?

All the Govt. officials need to do now is to monitor the immigration list and see a related deposit of money to find out where the hoarding is.

That’s my point, no clarity. How hard is it to say ‘it will no longer be legal tender after sep 30’

Who cares about the governments agenda or politics, i just want to have clarity if my 2000r notes will still be usable after sep30

Just like corona hotspots, Government should now monitor all branches and identify corruption hotspots

One thing I could not find in the reports – value of currency Rs2000 notes hold?

I am referring to total value not the currency in circulation – does anyone know?

In 2018 the amount was 6 lack crore and now it has come down to 3 lack crore.

that’s the circulation number i guess. how much of Rs2000 was printed?
