According to the billionaire, AI will demonstrate impressive intellectual power, which will make it something like a superintelligence, next year or in 2026. This is a very bold statement. It is worth noting that many experts and analysts have repeatedly said that in the future artificial intelligence can surpass the human mind in the context of the ability to think, including analyzing information and generating complex conclusions, but no one predicted that the implementation of such a potential scenario would happen so quickly.

Yigit Ihlamur, an AI researcher and founder of the investment company Vela Partners, in a comment to the media, stated his agreement with Elon Musk’s opinion on the prospects for the development of AI. According to the expert, in some segments of the knowledge system and cognitive abilities, artificial intelligence has already surpassed humans and will continue to move in the appropriate direction. At the same time, Yigit Ihlamur is convinced that AI in individual spheres will not become a force that is more powerful than human capabilities.

Elon Musk also stated that hardware limitations can become an obstacle to the rapid development of artificial intelligence technologies. In this context, he noted that last year the AI industry faced difficulties amid a shortage of chips, which are necessary for training digital thinking systems.
