HSBC’s PayMe Teams Up with Adyen to Tap into Hong Kong’s Payment Market

The global financial technology provider Adyen has
partnered with HSBC’s PayMe. This collaboration aims to provide Adyen’s
merchants with access to PayMe’s user base and diverse payment options in the
dynamic Hong Kong market.

PayMe, a payment app in Hong Kong, has had three
million users since its inception in 2017. The payment platform is accepted at
over 65,000 physical and online outlets across the city. PayMe targets a wide
range of consumers, from local SMEs to large-scale retailers.

Kai Tang, the Head of Hong Kong at Adyen, mentioned:
“We are thrilled to partner with PayMe, a homegrown payment service with
over three million users in Hong Kong. The partnership enables our local and
global customers to provide Hong Kong shoppers more ways to purchase their
favorite brands.”
