Collections are a new way to organize your posts and highlight the work you want.
Creators, we heard you. You said you needed better ways to organize your work and make it easier for members to find what they’re looking for. So, today we’re launching collections to all creators.
We designed a flexible system that allows you to choose how you group your work and add a custom cover image for each collection to show members what’s inside. Whether you’re highlighting your most popular posts, organizing your podcast episodes into seasons, or putting together a video series, you have the creative freedom to arrange and present your work in a way that helps your members dive into exactly what they’re looking for and discover new posts to love.
In testing, creators saw increases in member discovery and consumption of posts, especially older posts, when featured in a collection. This means members find it easier to get to the things they want to see (no matter how long ago you shared them) without having to dig through tons of posts.
Help members find and discover your posts
Collections and tags are now both easily discoverable at the top of your creator homepage in the collections tab. Underneath your collections, all of your tags will be displayed with the number of posts in each.
You can use both collections and tags on your Patreon, but if you want to convert your existing tags to collections, just use the “create collection with tags” button.
Create your first collection
To start building a collection, go to the collections tab at the top of your homepage. When you create a post on Patreon, you can choose to start a new collection or add to one of your existing collections. To learn more, visit our Help Center.
