It has many advantages,
Day traders use this platform the most, they keep getting distracted. And all the time they have been searching something or the other.
A good way to avoid distraction is a web software that will do charting and trading but not browsing.
And that web software runs in less resources, there is not much load on your system.
Having your own web software, you can put a lot of protection on it so that it can avoid hacking attack etc. Or its effect on it will be less.

And after every 5-7 days the cache of the browser has to be cleared, otherwise the chart does not load properly, this problem also gets rid of.

Zerodha should also launch its own browsing software like TradingView.
