Victory Park Capital (VPC) has appointed Stephanie Mesheski as principal on the investor relations and marketing team.

The private credit manager said that she will primarily be responsible for business development.

She will work alongside Sora Monachino, the head of investor relations who was recently promoted to managing director.

Mesheski previously held the role of head of marketing at Gladius Capital, an asset manager specializing in volatility and derivative based strategies.

Prior to that, she was a managing director and co-head of the client relationship group at Balyasny Asset Management.

“I am thrilled to join Victory Park Capital and to have the opportunity to support the expansion of the firm’s existing investor base,” Mesheski said. “VPC has an industry-leading reputation in private credit and asset-backed lending, and I look forward to working alongside the talented VPC team to continue cultivating strong investor relationships.”

Richard Levy, chief executive, chief investment officer and founder at VPC, said: “We are pleased to welcome Stephanie to VPC. She brings over two decades of industry experience and a track record of successfully leading marketing and fundraising strategies, and we are confident that her skillset and ability to build strong relationships will be instrumental to VPC’s continued growth.”

VPC has been making a number of new appointments of late. It announced that it had promoted Kinan Hayani and Monachino as managing directors earlier this week.

The US-based group also announced the promotion of six others, across a variety of functions, including in data analytics and fund accounting.

Victory Park Capital has invested $9.7bn (£7.7bn) across 215 investments since inception. It specialises in private credit, including investing in special situations, asset backed opportunistic credit and legal finance.
